On April 12, 2011 – The Pelican Chapter Associated Builders and Contractors Safety Committee along with officials from the area Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) were on hand to receive the Workers Memorial Day Proclamation by Governor Bobby Jindal. Observance of Workers Memorial Day is April 28th.
